Brooklyn's East India Pale Ale is inspired by the original IPA's that were brewed with extra hops, and a high alcohol content, in order to protect the beers over the course of the long sea voyage from England to the colonies. Brooklyn's East India Pale Ale maintains the bite common to other IPA's, but rounds it out with citrusy flavors resulting in a strong, but highly drinkable brew.
